Student Summit 2020

Hello everybody,

Today we had student summit 2020 which i really enjoyed. I did a treasure map on scratch it was about North, South, West, East, it was my favourite session . There was a green square and you had to move it around using your keyboard. 

I am really looking forward to using scratch again and creating other things. I didn't save my scratch as i didn't know how and I will find out how to do this so I have something to show you next time.

Really enjoyed all the sessions and hope we can do it again.

Facts about Penguins

Did you know that penguins have flipper instead of wings.

Today we are going to be learning about penguins 

Physical characteristics

Penguins actually have flipper instead of wings, penguins are covered in feather to keep them warm they have black heads and backs and white fronts

Food

Penguins only and usually eat Krill Fish and Squid 

Predators

Leopard seals and the main threat to Penguins and an animal called Skuas and a penguins environmental danger is oil spills a tiny sip they will get sick unbelievable!

Habitat

Penguins in very very cold place the temperature is way below freezing, it's so freezing that the sun does not even rise in Antarctica

Conclusion

Penguins are amazing animals, Penguins have lots of physical Characteristics and only have a couple things to eat, they also have a couple of predators who can eat them, penguins live in such very cold places. Bye hoped you liked it

People that live in Tonga had very different ideas about when the Ha’amonga was built its almost everyone one that lives in Tonga has different ideas of when the Ha’amonga was built some people think it was built 800 years ago other people think it was built over 1000 years ago but some people disagreed to that and thought it was nearly built 3000 years ago!

Who Built It

Because the stones were so heavy and huge that some people really believe that a strong man called Maui they believe he built.

Why Was It Built

Just saying many people that live in Tonga think that the Ha’amonga was a gateway to king Tu’itatuis house.

The Home Learning Site is for reading and writing tasks and fitness and yoga and my little sister and I sometimes think that the home learning site is very handy, we like seeing new blogs from our classmates. When I first found out about it I was like I an going to jump jam it was so fun my little sister was staring at me going like "what are you doing" and I say "i'm doing jump jam" then she said she wanted to join so let her join me. After dinner we had 5 more mins until we go to sleep. So that's why I think that the home learning site is very handy we also do our reading and writing tasks. From Grace

To do list

Things I do at home:

In the morning when I wake up I go and get my chrome book and start my homework, after I have breakfast then I will go and brush my teeth to be shiny clean  

At 10:30 my little sister and I are gonna make something for our mother but we have to start today because we gonna give our mum 5 gifts so my sister and I have to work hard but that's starting at 10:30.                                                                                              When it is 11:00 we will have a little snack and that is morning tea yes it is finally time to eat!  Then its lunch time, after lunch we are going to play on the phone for a little then we are going to have a nap in the afternoon because I will be tired.  Once we wake up the time will be 2:00 or 3:00 then we are gonna play video games.
At 6:00 we have family evening service

                                              that is why we celebrate ANZAC day on the 25 of April......
                  Most of my days i spend with my family playing with my sisters my mum and my step dad.
